When you receive the gate, you may notice a gap between the lock and the door frame. This gap is normal because the gate is installed through reaction force. Therefore, we remind you not to cut the zip tie on the bars, as this will facilitate the installation process. Rest assured, the gap will disappear after the installation is completed.

The Cumbor Baby Gate is designed for your convenience. When installed with the pressure mounting system, the gate can be removed at any time without difficulty. If you prefer a more permanent solution, the hardware-mounted option is available. First, take measurements of your door. If needed, add the extensions. Next, place the gate where you plan to install it. Use a pencil to mark the position of the wall cups and screw holes. Use a drill to punch the holes, insert the wall anchors, and attach the wall cups with screws and a screwdriver. Finally, place the gate into the wall cups and rotate the tension bolts to increase the pressure until the gap disappears.

The gate is designed to ensure a superior weight-bearing capacity, with a distance of 1.89 inches between the supports, allowing it to remain sturdy even when leaned on by your curious kids or playful pets.

This Cumbor Safety Gate with 3 Extensions is perfect for stairs, doorways, and large openings, with a main gate width of 27.95 inches, and extensions of 7.87 inches and 2.75 inches, accommodating openings from 29.7 inches to 46 inches. We recommend installing the gate on solid and flat pillars and walls, as it is not recommended for curved or unstable items.

For maximum safety, we recommend a perforated installation with the Wall Cups firmly fixed to the wall. If you need to remove the gates, tie together the gate latch and the frame with strings first, then loosen the pressure bolts.

It includes two 2.75-inch extension pieces and one 8.25-inch extension piece, making the gate suitable for openings between 29.7 and 46 inches. Constructed from high-quality durable metal, it has a high load-bearing capacity to ensure the gate stays stable when pets or babies lean on it, suitable for pets up to 150 lbs.

The gate features a double safety lock, with a top lock having both a trigger and a button, and a bottom lock with two latches, preventing accidental opening from curious kids and pets.
