Bamboo furniture is coated with NC varnish, which will not be damaged by water in a short time, but it is not recommended to be placed in a damp or watery place for a long time, as bamboo is prone to mold in high-temperature and high-humidity environments. However, the NC varnish used is a safe furniture coating, especially after drying, and is widely used for solid wood furniture. Our products take more than two months from production to delivery to our customers, and the varnish has evaporated most of the solvents used in its production, so it has no effect on people and pets.
If the entire product is made of bamboo, it can be painted. However, some products have parts that are MDF and cannot be painted. Please see our product description for details.
