Pool Buoy was founded by Rae Maxwell, owner and creative director of interiors and furniture design. With a young family and being a 'big kid', she constantly found fun in kiddie alternatives over summer - inflatable pools, slip and slides, the simple garden hose and sprinkler even gets a run! Having three summer babies, she'd often host inflatable pool parties.
As an interior and furniture designer, she got to thinking - why are there not any stylish, and well-made inflatable pools in the market? Our pools have a strong emphasis on design, and we are on a quest to rid the world of gaudy backyard inflatables. We also believe in buy once, buy well with our pools being made from thick, durable PVC and are free from nasties like BPA, Lead and Phthalates so they can be enjoyed summer after summer.
We want to provide safe and stylish pools for families alike. We believe that there are a lot of ugly and TOXIC items out there on the market. Many kiddie pools are made from materials that are high in toxicity which, when you think about it, is like bathing in all those nasty numbers and letters like BPA & Lead. The products we offer are safe for the whole family to use, which makes us love what we do!
